A global initiative of Plan International USA, Because I am a Girl works in developing countries to give girls access to the most basic of human rights. At your party you'll celebrate your own life while learning how to pay it forward.
AARP Create The Good House Party
Make a difference in your community - host an AARP Create the Good® House Party. Invite friends age 50+ to join you in a service activity on the weekend of September 11, 2011, in honor of the National Day of Service & Remembrance. You can choose to host a book or coat drive (with step-by-step guidance from us), fight hunger or propose an activity of your own - it doesn't matter, as long as you're helping others. It's all about coming together and doing good in a way that's rewarding and fun.

Invite a sus amigos mayores de 50 años a participar en una actividad de servicio el fin de semana del 11 de septiembre del 2011 para celebrar el Día Nacional de Servicio y Recuerdo. Children International Kid-tribution House Party
Come relive the joys of childhood, when the simplest things meant the most! Partygoers will bring pictures, scrapbooks, and yearbooks to help recall the simple pleasures of childhood. But the real joy comes when everyone learns how sponsorship can help provide food, clothes, healthcare, and education for one child in need. This is not giving to another faceless charity - it's a Kid-tribution to Children International. So get everyone together to not only learn, but also play nostalgic games and enjoy classic snacks in this celebration of childhood joy.
